Which internet browser should you use in general and for internet marketing in particular? Using the best browser available can make a difference in productivity.
Chrome versus Firefox-the Browser Wars
Until not so long ago most people involved in internet marketing in one form or another, including those learning it, were predominantly using the Firefox browser.
It was heavily recommended in different internet gurus courses and it was an undisputed winner.
It worked very well and had a large number of useful plug ins available for it.
When the Chrome came on the scene it seemed like most people didn’t pay that much attention to it at first. I certainly didn’t pay too much attention even though I downloaded and installed it in order to have an idea of what it was like.
But I continued using Firefox most of the time and exclusively for posting new posts on my blog.
Then one day when I was writing a blog post and adding videos to it something strange and weird happened. Without me doing anything to cause it the browser bar from the top of Firefox appeared inside of my new blog post and I couldn’t get rid of it without deleting the whole post. I tried several times to do everything else but the bar kept on reappearing.
So finally I tried using the Chrome browser, for the first time, to write a post on my blog and it went smoothly. No unwanted bar appeared and my trust in Chrome started growing just as my trust in Firefox was shaken.
As many of you may know a few weeks ago the Google Bar stopped working on Firefox browser because Google won’t support it anymore there.
It looks like a browser war to me. It may or may not be but the fact is that Firefox’s appeal will suffer because of it.
If I were a lone internet marketer who does no live networking I’d be crushed by events like this.
How Live Internet Marketing Networking Helps
Luckily, doing a lot of live internet marketing networking with local bloggers and marketers I’m able to handle things much better.
You can find out more about the importance of live internet marketing networking in the many posts I wrote about it on this blog starting with 5 Reasons For IM Networking and Meeting People Live.
Another good post to read is Internet Marketing Event Networking that even includes a short interview I did with one of the best known and most successful internet marketers in the UK, Lee McIntyre.
Choosing the Best Internet Marketing Tools is Easier When Discussed Live
As you will see in the video below, it helps to be able to discuss things with fellow marketers. Choosing a browser, for example, is easier when you talk to others and hear what their experience with different browsers is.
Since that discussion shown in the video above, Firefox 4 is no longer the newest version. The browser is already several versions up at Firefox 7. Update January 11, 2012: Today I updated to Firefox 9.0.1 after strong and repeated urging from them. As usual something is not working as well as it did in the previous version, in my case it was Firefox 8 (one version up from when I first wrote this post). With the newest version, Firefox 9.0.1 the icons in my bookmarks are not showing. Basic stuff. It makes me wonder why they don’t check things are working before pushing it down people’s throats. Update February 12, 2012: I updated to Firefox 10.0.1. The bookmarks icons now show again.
Update March 09, 2012: I have found a flaw or a bug with Chrome for Mac (I don’t use one for Windows), Firefox for Windows and all major browsers for both systems with the exception of Firefox for Mac. What’s the flaw? When you go to YouTube, the new design that everyone started to be changed to as of March 07, 2012 and click on the Most Popular Videos tab instead of seeing the page with most popular videos you will still see the videos page as before except that the number of uploaded videos will be 37. This number 37 shows on every channel regardless of how many videos they uploaded. I have 352 uploaded videos right now for example. The only browser that works when you click on the Most Popular Videos tab is Firefox for Mac. If you use Chrome for Windows please let me know if it works or not. This may not be just a browser problem but since Firefox for Mac works it is at least partly a Chrome for Mac browser imperfection. Other browsers have the same issue. I wonder how long it will take for YouTube and Google to fix the problem. I did send them a bug report early morning March 08, 2012.
Update March 15, 2012: YouTube and Google have fixed the flaw or bug described in March 09 update above. It’s fixed not only for Chrome but for the other browsers as well. It took them a week. Good job.
The above updates just show that no browser is 100 % perfect. A browser may be perfect temporarily until the next issue with it comes up.
Changing versions so frequently is one of the things that I personally don’t like about Firefox. Sometimes the plug ins stop working when you install the newest version.
And when you happen to have an older computer that doesn’t support the newer Firefox version they keep on bugging you to install it anyway for months or even years.
You may be interested to know that John Chow for example doesn’t use Firefox browser at all anymore.
How about you?
What is your favorite browser, is it Firefox or Chrome? Is there a browser other than the two mentioned that you prefer?
Please comment on these things in the comments section and then tweet and bookmark this post to engage others.
How are you doing with social media like Facebook and Google+ ?

I’ve been using Chrome since it came out because it’s so much faster than Firefox and I really love the frequently-visited tabs on the homepage. There are a lot of great apps now, too.

Hi Annie,
Thanks for the comment. Chrome is faster especially if you’ve had several tabs open and close some of them. With Firefox closing only some of them doesn’t really help. You have to close them all and start over. It least that’s the way it was until recently. Chrome doesn’t update every other week like Firefox either or if it does things still work as far as plug ins etc. That’s my view right now.
Vance.

It’s not that Chrome doesn’t slow down when you have that many tabs open but if you close one or several of them it speeds up right away. Firefox doesn’t unless you close it completely and start over.

Hey Vance,
Well back in the day when we were using IE, “Internet Explorer” for those of you who might not know what that is.
It became increasing slow so I moved to Firefox and have never looked back, but recently as you mention about all the updates and some features not been compatible, I may look into to chrome.
I have seen many blogs discuss this and there seems to be a lot of people swaying towards Chrome even die hard fans of Firefox.
I would not say I am a die hard fan of Firefox, but some things are just starting to annoy me and I want my browsing to be as smooth as possible.
So do I make the change now or later????????????

Hey Craig,
I don’t see any reason to wait if Firefox is starting to annoy you. But you can always make the change gradually if you don’t want to let go of Firefox completely. I still use Firefox sometimes but not for any new posts and things like that. If it’s just for surfing the net there’s not much that can go wrong with it.
Thanks for commenting.
Cheers,

I tried Chrome right away and I like it. I went for it right away because I like how Google works, and once they made a browser, I wanted to check it out. I’m very happy because of my choice.

I downloaded the latest version of Firefox yesterday and compared it to Chrome. And guess what? Chrome is still the best for speed. I don’t know what happened to Firefox. i’m not switching to it anymore.
Correction:
I was using Google Chrome for a while until I had a problem purchasing concerts tickets. Had to switch to a different browser in the middle of the order. I ended up having a double charge on my credit card and almost didn’t make it to get the last two tickets that I wanted for a birthday gift. I was done with Chrome. Switched back to Windows IE and Firefox. I can work with these two browsers very well.

Hi Vance,
Thank You :). And yes, I never came across the same problems with Firefox or IE when I do online shopping.
The thing is, you don’t know it is the browser that is causing the trouble, until you visit the same page with a different browser. I had issues with Chrome a few times prior to this incident and so I after that just had enough of it. I’m a happy internet surfer since 🙂

Hi Anja,
I have not yet encountered any problem when using Chrome. I have heard that it may cause problems with some sites. In that case I think that the sites need to be upgraded. I heard of one site, not a shopping one, that was recently upgraded to show properly and work with the newest browsers. Some sites may not work and display properly not just with Chrome but with even the newest IE.
The idea is to use what works for you. As long as Firefox and IE work the best for what you do you are in a good place.

I used Firefox for a long time, since I liked the plug-ins and such, but it ended up being too bloated. I’ve since moved to Chrome and couldn’t be happier with its cleaner interface and lack of window chrome. I think devs still prefer Firefox for its plugin support, but for regular users, Chrome is the way to go. The individual processes for each tab make life a lot easier.

Hey Michael,
I really appreciate your comment since you are a professional writer and use the browsers all the time. I think that it was the Firefox update before the last one that really sealed it off for me and I decided to at least temporarily give up on Firefox. In order for it and some of the plugins to work I had to download something else separately. That was a joke I thought.
As far as I can see Chrome has tons of plugins that are very useful too. Many more than I’ll ever use. Firefox may have even more of them but so what? It’s fine for those who need them but I certainly don’t.
Vance
Hello Vance,
I’m the type of person who likes to use a bit of everything, whether in health, business, or, in this case, browsers. I have a Mac, so Safari’s installed. I also have Firefox, Chrome, Flock, and Opera.
However, the 2 that I use most of the time are Firefox and Chrome, and both at the same time (usually).
For multiple tabs, Chrome is faster. However, Firefox has more plugin support. For example, there’s a password-management system that I use that–I think–might only be compatible with Firefox. So, when I have to log into something, I use Firefox.
Oh…here’s a tip: when you’re setting up a blog or a site, it’s good to look at it through different browsers. A number of times, when setting up a new site, I’ve seen that one browser might display things a bit differently than another.
Or, one browser might read the code on a page differently than another, especially if the code doesn’t specify something, such as CSS that doesn’t specify a certain height for a particular H tag.

Hello DK,
Thanks for the comprehensive comment. I think that everybody will like it whether they use Firefox, Chrome or both or even all the other browsers you mentioned. I agree with you that using more of everything or a little bit of each browser is a good idea especially for testing how things look differently in each and hopefully good in all browsers. I still think that if I only could use one browser it would be Chrome. Safari is very clean and simple but doesn’t do much otherwise. I’ve never tried Flock.
Is there anything Flock does that the other browsers don’t do?
Cheers,
Vance

chrome is my favorite. I used to be a Firefox fan, but a couple of releases ago it started to crash and hang and the extensions didn’t always work so I tried chrome.
I like that chrome doesn’t have to restart when you install an extension. As Michael said, when one tab hangs or crashes, you just close that tab and move on.
I also like the chrome store .. when I create a new tab, all my favorite applications icons are right there and the icons of the last few pages I opened.

I don’t understand why people cannot see Google for what it is – a great big carnivorous beast that swallows up everything in its path.

Nice to see you around and that you’ve been to the “ghost town” too. Google may be all those things but sometimes I wonder if the hate towards it is fully justified. With the browser war, if it indeed is on, I was surprised a couple of days ago when I saw the Google bar working again on Firefox 7. Maybe it was fixed somehow by Firefox with some plugin or maybe Google reconsidered supporting it.
Looking just at the browsers I like Chrome better.

Hi SY,
Long time no comment. Thanks for this one and I hope you’ll be coming back to share more of your wisdom.
Chrome may talk back to Google. I’m not sure it talks more than the other browsers. As you say they know about you anyway so I don’t worry about it too much. I can see why you don’t want them to know more about you but once you are online they can know everything anyway I think. Other devices collect detailed information too, for example iPhones. It’s the age we live in and I don’t see an possible way of escaping it. If you don’t give them any reasons to focus on you it probably matters little.
Firefox has updated again and has a new version 8. I’m weary of updating Firefox since the last few updates always caused something to not work. As for slowness I wouldn’t say Firefox is slow but if you have a few tabs open and it gets slower, closing some tabs doesn’t help unless you close them all. With Chrome it speeds up with closing just one or few tabs. Who knows maybe Firefox will fix this in one of their annoyingly too many new versions that keep coming too often. I wonder why don’t they fix more things at a time. If Firefox works for you, great.
Have you checked my video page lately? I have more cat and scenic videos there. Oh, and I started a gadget review videos page recently, there’s one video there so far but that will change quickly.

To be fair Firefox is not too slow, just a bit slower than Chrome. It’s only when you use multiple tabs that the difference is bigger. Even then it’s not that much but the main advantage with tabs that Chrome has is that the speed increases with each closed tab which won’t happen with Firefox.

Nice post with interesting comments. I use both firefox and chrome equally. I find that, as many have already mentioned, chrome to be faster. However, when it comes to extensions, until last month, there were not many extensions for chrome and only a couple of weeks ago google released chrome web store. Still I was not able to find a downloadhelper or download accelerator for chrome. I feel that the history page on the chrome needs be made much simpler. Chrome also has a problem in remembering the saved passwords in linux (Keyring password). I am not sure whether this has been fixed.
On the other hand I find firefox to be heavy and occupying lot of RAM. I feel that both firefox and chrome have lot areas in which they require improvement.

Chrome and Firefox have their own advantages and disadvantages. I love Chrome because it is very fast and easy to navigate; I especially like the fact that you can search for anything directly into the address bar. But I am lousy typist and I often do something with my keyboard that shuts down Chrome immediately. I don’t know what it is but it is very frustrating especially when I have written a long email already.
That’s why I switched to Firefox because if you accidentally press something on the keyboard which makes the browser close all the windows, it will still give a warning if you would like to close the tabs or not. This is a feature I didn’t find in Chrome.

I love this debate, I always have both open!
The amount of tools, addons, and custom options in firefox is unbeatable; any web developer like myself will attest to that. (Try developing with Firebug for a day and you’ll be converted)
But for version testing, keeping organized, or just a lightspeed browser, Chrome is my answer.
I don’t discriminate, unless its against IE6
I like Chrome! But the thing is there are many things that work better in Firefox. For example working with multiple tabs is faster in chrome. In firefox you can get any image from a website easily, you can see the PR easily. So, though I like chrome I need to use both. Internet explorer new version is something that I would love to try.

I’m currently using both. logged into my personal and work accounts on separate browsers. Ive been a FF user since version 2 and I still prefer it for work and development with the firebug addon. However I am starting to prefer Chrome now for general browsing. It is faster and less prone to crashes.

I prefer Chrome, but now I use Firefox because there are some plugins that are compatible only with Firefox.
For me, both Chrome and Google+ are sitting in the same box at the minute. They have been looked at, but as yet, have not been unpacked. I had a similar experience between Firefox and Chrome where Firefox point-blank refused to load new themes on my WP blogs, so I decided to use Chrome and the themes loaded straight away. I think you’re spot on with your assessment; and it only takes one issue with Firefox, or any other browser for that matter, for us to start looking at alternatives.

Hey Josh,
Using IE for many people is OK I guess. If It works for them and they don’t know any better. Some people who have a PC are actually afraid to use other browsers believing it might do some evil things to their computer. As for Chrome and Google tracking what you are doing it’s possible but so it is with other browsers although some of them may ask you if it’s OK.

I must say I prefer Chrome for simply browsing. I have a lot of toolbar add-ons for Firefox, so it’s even clunkier and slower. but I do use Firefox when I need to make use of the add+ons (for SEO purposes, for example). Mostly I’ve got two browsers open, but I predominantly use Chrome.
i use both browser, depends on what i work onto. they both have their special functions.

Hi Nirmal,
Good for you. Any browser can freeze once in a while but if it happens too often then it makes sense to try a different one. I wish I could say it never happens with Chrome but on occasion it does too.
I’m actually using both but I prefer to use chrome for a more faster browsing. Firefox is more on plug ins and it’s features were mostly for SEO use.
Chrome is incredible, but I think that it works much less well on older machines (I’m talking about 2-3 years old, here). Sometimes the memory leaks render the browser unusable.
I accept that there is a very easy way for businesses to deal with this (upgrade the computers), and Chrome is still(!) the best browser for older computers in my experience. I just hope that some competition remains on the market, driving Google to make Chrome even better than it already is.

HI Rich,
No browser is perfect and Chrome can certainly improve. But when it comes to older computers they aren’t going to cope with the improvements. There are still plenty of browsers besides Chrome but people tend to go with the best eventually. If the other browsers keep up then we’ll continue to have a choice. Chrome is ahead now but that can change.

I prefer Chrome, all the way. As small a thing as it is, I just love the fact that I can use the browser as a Google search engine without having to go onto Google. I know, I know, Firefox has a search bar as well, but I like having everything in one place!

You don’t need to make Chrome your default browser if you are concerned about them knowing everything about what you do online. I don’t believe that they are focusing on what you do unless you do something you shouldn’t but that’s your call.
These days everything is in the open. I mean all activities can be monitored whether online or on the street. I use more than one browser not because I’m concerned about Google but because it’s convenient. I just use Chrome the most these days because it works the best for most things I do.
Thank you for commenting.

I would say that chrome is the best browser because of the speed, the apps, and its broswer is treated as the google search engine. Most people that I see on their computers are using chrome.
I go for Chrome everytime. The browser I am currently using, and my favourite browser for a decade or more. Kinda miss my netscape navigator :P. Why I pick Chrome above Firefox is it’s simplicity. Only thing I dislike with Chrome is the bookmark function, I little too clumsy and difficult to access.

I think it’s just a personal thing but to me, Firefox is so much better cause of the numerous addons and plugin readily avaliable. It’s what makes Firefox so popular. We can all agree that IE is one of the worst browser and yet it is one of the most popular.
Both have its ups and downs. I love both of them, Chrome really is more faster than firefox but firefox beats chrome to being stable. In my experience, chrome is prone to crashing more than firefox. But I use both.

I was a regular user of Firefox for last two years. But recently I shifted to Chrome. I think with the latest upgrades Chrome outperformed Firefox in terms of speed and performance. No doubt that Firefox is continually improving. As I pointed out in the post the number of new versions and updates is sometimes too much and too frequent to the point that it gets annoying. Your focus on memory management in 2012 is a good move. Chrome is doing better there right now I think. It’s wise for you not to compare browsers since you are involved and working with one of them and would of course be partial to it.
People who aren’t so closely involved with any browser tend to compare them and though some of them are still biased the same way some people are fanatically in favor of Coke as opposed to Pepsi, generally they just compare how different browsers work for them. If you read the comments here most people like both Firefox and Chrome but Chrome seems to be winning right now. As long as the gap is narrow and not getting wider it will be good for the users.
Cheers.
I’ve always preferred firefox to chrome. I use firebug with yslow and pagespeed as well as debug mode and don’t believe it’s available on chrome (wasn’t the last tie I looked- back in the dark ages!). However, the works computer is a G5 mac, so won’t run the latest browsers- lacks something called an intel processor- whatever that is?!?!?). However, fron a designer’s perspective, I still have to keep copies of firefox, chrome, safari, IE and Opera. Experience even now still dictates that firefox and safari are the only CSS compliant browsers available.

I love the discussion so much and its been to many opinion on each side. In my part, I’m using chrome for a bit longer but in sometimes I do use firefox. Firefox has its own feature that Chrome couldn’t access like in commentLuv instead. Chrome is more farster than firefox. That’s Chrome advantage. In a matter of fact, Chrome and firefox is better and both of them are unique.

As for me, I have worked with both browsers. and I changed Firefox into Chrome. From my point of view it’s more comfortable for the user. But it’s IMHO.
I agree with Vance. You are right, I have also found the same thing happen to me, It is not that Chrome doesn’t slow down when you have several tabs open at the same time. When it does, I close one or several of the open tabs, and it speeds up right away. In case of Firefox it doesn’t happen. Only when I close it completely and start over, it speeds up! So personally I would prefer Chrome over Firefox or even IE, any given day.
I use Firefox for web development (hussa FireBug!), but it’s memory management is terrible 🙁 That is the real flaw of Firefox. So for casual web browsing I use Chrome.
The bottom line here as I have found using both is: Chrome is faster and less resource hungry ( as long as you keep the number of open tabs down), whilst Firefox has some really useful add ons for IM like the do follow checkers etc.
On a side note have you all found both of them to be less stable in the latest versions than before?

Some are afraid to because of the warnings by MS on their PC that it might do damage to their computer if they use something not from MS.

Hi Vance
We use Firefox 10, on 6 PC’s, each with at least a dozen tabs open. But I have to say the constant fox updates and then restarts are really starting to bug us, and at times become an inconvenience.
If Chrome doesn’t do this, or as you say, does it quietly in the background instead of booting you out of your work zone, then we may look into it.
Also Interesting that Chrome responds faster on videos. We do alot of video SEO work, so i think we should check chrome out. Anything that improves workflow efficiency is good!

Hi Vance,
Thanks for that great advice! You are dead right about not throwing all one’s eggs out of the basket, so we put our video reviewer and video competition analyzer on Chrome today – to see what she thought. Since her job is mostly watching and researching videos all day for clients (and optimization)it can be time consuming at times, even on a 4mbps connection.
Jan announced at 1.00 pm she had finished the days video work, 2 hours earlier than using Firefox. No defrag or reboot. Hell, that’s good! Made her start on tomorrows work. lol. So, for this application and purpose, Chrome is Trumps.
So there it goes — what is your intended browsing purpose, i.e. what do you want from a browser? If it’s just forums and emails, basic stuff, almost anything will do. But understanding Google’s 2012 emphasis on video content, and the huge video content increase we WILL be seeing in the future, Chrome has obviously already been ‘optimized’ by Google, right now. That’s definitely a +1 from our perspective!
This also means potentially a better user experience for video junkies and gamers. Fingers crossed it does’nt go the ‘too simple’ way like MS operating systems did, and become hard to customize through ‘over simplicity’.
We will soon be doing some comparisons with Firefox to see how it goes with compatible SEO and internet marketing plugins.
I wonder if it will harvest and pull Google data quicker?
I will let you know.
Cheers Vance

Can you describe the Firefox bug a bit, what it was doing to your site? It’s most likely fixed by now. It’s great that Chrome works for you right now. Browsers have bugs once in a while and even Chrome is not immune to that. If you read the update of March 09, 2012 inside this post it’s an example of that. Hopefully fewer and fewer bugs will come up with both Chrome and Firefox.

I agree that Firefox is best for SEO. I use the SEO book toolbar the most. Firefox does get very slow sometimes for me though.
Without a doubt, Chrome is better. (Chrome 17 vs Firefox 11). Chrome has turned into a complete stable, incredibly fast, and intuitive workhorse, while Firefox has not changed much (besides its look). The number of plugins and HTML5 applications for Chrome is astounding. I know that Firefox has some great plugins too, but if Chrome does not already have an equivalent, it will REALLY soon.
Chrome > Firefox in every single aspect. Without a doubt (and this is coming from a tech person).

Well, Chrome just Rocks! The verdict is out for us. The SEO Plugins are numerous, and several are very useful and accurate. The overall user experience is a much quicker workflow. Chrome does indeed extract Google data faster. We have been using it for all video work and we now have 4 PC’S running on it, full time. No freezing, stable & very reliable. Our staff prefer it!
Google already have an extensive network of third party plugin developers coding away… I believe soon there will be more plugin support for Chrome, in due time, than Firefox.
All this coming from an ex die-hard Firefox fan and user.
I highly recommend people go for it – from both a ‘techy’ point of view and a ‘it’s just better’ point of view.

Friends, let’s put this into true perspective.
If you have not tried Chrome then you probably have not even looked to see what SEO plugins are available. Chrome has ALOT of very good SEO plugins, all of which are just as good or better than the Firefox plugins, plus Chrome is even compatible with a few Staple Firefox plugins including SEOQuake.
Just Google Chrome SEO plugins. Don’t be shy about trying Chrome. I am a full time SEO and employ 5 staff. We are all using it now, and we don’t regret it. It still makes us money and has’nt ruined our business – it’s actually made things more efficient!
Try and decide. That’s what we did.

Hi Carwyn,
Thanks for contributing to the conversation again. I see that you are really enjoying using Chrome.
Cheers,
Vance
For my work I prefer Firefox over any other web-browser, it has maximum plugin and addon support. But for normal internet surfing I use Goggle chrome as its page load time is great it is fast and it has the largest screen space.

What do you mean by largest screen space? Screen size has anything to do with a browser? You must be kidding.

Hey Vance thanks for your response 🙂 . I’m talking about the screen space not about the screen size. Firefox takes up way too much space at the top of the screen. Most of the space in Firefox is occupied by navigation toolbar, menu toolbar and bookmarking toolbar but Google Chrome provide maximum screen space. That’s what I’m talking about.

OK Ravi, thanks for clarifying that.
I believe it’s quite telling that you didn’t include Internet Explorer in your pet browser question. To me, IE 9 is a horror show…

Hi,I am a webmaster,I am workeing on internet markeing,I allways like to work on firefox beacuse firefox is a faster browser and It is suporting many seo tools. Thanks for sharing this informative post.
It is a tough battle indeed. I like to use Chrome for its speed and ease but Firefox with the many add ons and the fact that I can restore my session in case of a crash are some of the reasons I have to go for Firefox instead.

In my case I use Chrome most of the time fro browsing and doing all my marketing stuff. But in checking data, competition, rankings, etc, I use Firefox because it has these awesome plugins that goes with it.
The implementation of add-ons is simple in case of firefox as compare to Chrome. Like SEOMOZ toolbar is easily accessible in FF but complicated to use in Chrome.
Chrome is way better!!! I’m a big fan of chrome i will never go back to Firefox or internet explorer 🙂
I often used firefox because you can installlot of add-ons ysuch as firebug, fire FTP, SEO quake, dofollow, color picker, etc..Since I am a webmaster, these tools are very useful to me in my daily tasks..
But one thing I complained of FF, is that it suddenly crashed when there are so many websites I opened…I dont know what it causes??I haven’t investigated yet..
I absolutely love Chrome’s speed, efficiency, and simplicity. The library of extensions it features is also pretty awesome (although Fire Fox also has a great add-on library). It does worry me a bit that Google is tracking my every visit/click while browsing, but it cant keep me away from using Chrome. I cannot believe people still use IE. Makes me sick to think about dealing with its troubles on a daily basis.

Hi Colt,
Thanks for commenting. I think that people who still use IE don’t experience troubles with it on a daily basis. For them it works well. It’s a choice that everybody can make when it comes to which browser to use. Luckily we do have some choices. IE is used by people who haven’t tried to use Firefox or Chrome because they are afraid to or don’t care to. If and when they experience enough trouble with IE they will try something else.
