Thanks for stopping by and leaving such a nice comment. AWeber rocks. It seems that you are ahead of me in terms of putting AWeber to use.

I am still learning more than doing with it. I managed to put the opt in box on this blog. I also added some e-mails to the autoresponder sequence but there are so many more things AWeber does. Did you check out the help section once you’re logged in? There are 2 great videos worth watching from a seminar in London. Of course that is in addition to all the great instructional videos.

I’ll have to learn from you some of the other things you mention.

I use it a lot when I setting up giveaway squeeze pages and download pages.

I finally figured out how to do an opt in for people to join my blog itself. I know how to do the opt in web form but took a little while to figure out how to post it onto my blog page.

Thank you for the helpful comment. I know that GetResponse is also a very good autoresponder just because I noticed that a good number of well known internet marketers use it. Some of them even use both Aweber and GetResponse the reason for which escapes me.

One marketer I’m in touch with recommended GetResponse mainly because of its former lower price. Now that the price is similar or on the same level as you say the advantages of AWeber are more pronounced. With things being on just about equal footing I will always mention both AWeber and GetResponse when writing about autoresponders. I love AWeber but will never say to anybody who prefers GetResponse that they are making the wrong choice.

And thank you for mentioning that I didn’t point out one of the the crucial points that other autoresponders cannot be relied on: safely and reliably delivering your mailings. I will insert it in the article just to make sure that the readers consider this important point.

One thing you didn’t mention in your article is the ability of your autoresponder to actually deliver your mailings. With so much spam these days ISPs heavily filter mail and it’s very easy to have your mail tagged as spam. Having high profile companies like AWeber or GetResponse delivering your mailings for you greatly increases the success rate.

Nice summation of Autoresponders. I have always used Aweber. I have never had the need to look elsewhere. I have read of nightmares with other services. Like most other commenters here, I have seen that most all the top marketers use Aweber.

Thanks for the abundant comment. I’m really happy that people agree with my opinion on AWeber. I’d venture to say that it is not just an opinion but a fact. You know the reason I made this post was driven by the lack of information on the subject in general. It is not that the information cannot be found but the emphasis is definitely not on it as it should. Without good mailing list you really don’t have a business.

And without a good autoresponder you cannot have a good and well served mailing list.

Nobody had mentioned this to me 8 months ago when I started to learn about the computer and the internet and internet marketing.
In the many courses that I skimmed through I didn’t find anything on opt-in form for example, let alone how to put it up.

Anyway, I’d like to know what you do to build your mailing list. I’m just starting and would love to learn as much as I can from your experience.
