I believed that having a targeted Opt-in list which is not that big is much better than a list that was bought from nowhere. Because the more targeted your audience are the more sales you can get. Is that right Vance?

Hi Shikaina,

The reason why email marketing is separated from list building is probably because it’s such a big subject. List building is the first step. In order to do email marketing you will first need to have a list to market to. As for free autoresponders I wouldn’t advise you to use them because you’ll have problems with them sooner or later. Most internet marketers use AWeber or Get Response. You can find out more about this subject here on my blog in my post List Building Steps, Step 1 – Get Autoresponder. I hope this helps.

Why is that when every time I look for email marketing topics email marketing category is separated from list building? Isn’t list building is under email marketing that’s why they should join them as one. Is there a free email auto responder? if not what is the cheapest one? because i want to try this out.

Thanks for the article! Although it took me quite some time to read from beginning to end, I have to say that it was well worth it. I am yet to get me an e-book on email list building and yours seems like a good choice. I’ll definitely think about it.

I simply can’t imagine myself doing even a short report in one hour. Maybe with a lot of practice it can be done.

But whatever time it takes to create it, all that really matters is that the resulting product is useful.

I know that my ebook will be useful to some people and others will find some fault with it.

In any case reading it will hurt no one.
